September 27, 2022 - Monroe County Schools attended a briefing with the National Weather Service today in preparation for the possible impact of Hurricane Ian. It’s too soon to tell how the hurricane will affect our area. On the current track, the National Weather Services says our biggest threat is the potential for tropical-storm-force winds. We will continue to monitor the storm’s projected path and will update you as it gets closer.
In the meantime, please make sure your contact information is updated in Infinite Campus so we can reach you if necessary. We will use this information to call or text you if we make any adjustments to the school schedule. Also, download our Monroe County Schools app in the App or Google Play Stores, and make sure you enable notifications. It’s the fastest way for us to get urgent information to you.
