Monroe County held its annual Elementary Science Olympiad District tournament on March 8th. Hubbard Elementary, KB Sutton Elementary, and TG Scott Elementary's Science Olympiad Teams competed in several different events throughout the day. Congratulations to TG Scott ESO team for taking home 1st place in the tournament.
On March 16th, all three teams competed in the Regionals Elementary Science Olympiad Tournament held in Perry, Georgia hosted by Middle Georgia RESA. This was the first Regionals tournament in four years. There were a total of nine teams from across the Middle Georgia area that were in the tournament. Monroe County Elementary teams did very well in their "first ever" Regionals Tournament.
