Jason Flanders is the Assistant Superintendent for Student Services and Operations . He has been in the education field for 28 years and Monroe County for the last two years.
Mr. Flanders started his educational career at Westside High School, and remained in the Bibb County School System for 14 years working as a math teacher and Assistant Principal at Westside and Central High Schools. After leaving Bibb County in 2012, Mr. Flanders worked in Peach County as an Assistant Principal and CTAE Director. In 2018, he left Peach County to become the Principal of Baldwin High School in Milledgeville, GA.
Mr. Flanders graduated from Mercer University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 1998. He later earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2003 from Georgia College and State University. The following year, he earned his Specialist’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Georgia College and State University.
He has been married to his wife Pam for 29 years. She is a CPA and CFP specializing in tax planning and wealth management. They have a son, William, who graduated from Augusta University with a degree in Information Technology.
