Monroe County Literacy Council

The Monroe County Literacy Council is a joint effort of Monroe County Schools, Monroe County Adult and Community Education (MCACE), Monroe County Family Connection, Macon-Bibb Head Start, Forsyth-Monroe Chamber of Commerce, and the Boys and Girls Club of Central Georgia to promote literacy within the community. The Monroe County Literacy Council accepts donations, and funds can be dropped by Central Office to the attention of the Literacy Council.

The group has created videos of community members (including Monroe County Schools students and staff) reading books aloud. Check out those videos here.
