Hi, I'm Jennifer Paul Brown, and I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Parent Mentor for Monroe County Schools since March 2019.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Macon State College and started my professional journey at the Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber of Commerce. My background in marketing has given me strong communication skills and a deep appreciation for community engagement—both of which I now bring to my work with families and educators.
As a parent of a child with a disability, I understand firsthand the unique challenges many families face in navigating the school system. My son, Zander, is on the autism spectrum and non-verbal. He attends Hubbard Elementary School and is part of the ACCESS program, which has been an important part of our journey.
Outside of my role with the school system, I also serve on the Monroe County Special Olympics Committee and sit on the board of the Sunshine Foundation for Rob’s Place. Whether through professional experience or personal perspective, I’m passionate about helping families connect with resources, build strong relationships with schools, and support their children in achieving their full potential.
