Fit to Achieve
6th Annual Fit to Achieve 5K

The Monroe County Achievement Center is hosting its 6th Annual “Fit to Achieve” 5K Run on March 21, 2020. As part of our service-learning project for our students, we are promoting a healthy lifestyle by encouraging everyone to exercise and make healthy food choices. The race is a 5K course beginning and ending at the Monroe County Achievement Center. All proceeds will be used to enhance the educational experience of the students at the Monroe County Achievement Center. I hope that you are able to participate. Mary Persons High Announces the 2019 Four-year Graduation Cohort Rate

Mary Persons High School announces the 2019 four-year graduation cohort rate. The rate rose to 86.6%, the fourth highest recorded graduation rate in the school's history. The previous year's local graduation rate was 84.8%.

BOE Meeting Notice
NOTICE: September Board of Education Location Changed

The Monroe County Board of Education has officially changed the location of its regularly scheduled meeting for Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019, from the BOE Central Office at 25 Brooklyn Avenue, Forsyth, to Culloden City Hall, located at 9 College Street, Culloden, GA. The meeting starts at the normal time of 5:30 p.m. This meeting is open to the public and all are invited to attend. (This location change is for the September meeting only).
